Dragon Mobile Assistant Updates with More Voice Controls and Support for Older Android Devices

Dragon Mobile Assistant Updates with More Voice Controls and Support for Older Android DevicesAndroid: Dragon Mobile Assistant, released two months ago in beta, has a great feature set as a personal assistant app, and the latest update adds even more capabilities. Now you can use the app to launch other apps, set alarms, and play music just by speaking. In addition, you no longer need ICS to run it.

With the latest update, you can say things like "Open calculator," "Set alarm for 4pm today," and "Play Aerosmith" and Dragon Mobile Assistant will do your bidding.

According to the app's Play Store page, Dragon Mobile Assistant combines the hands-free capabilities of Vlingo (also owned by Nuance and our favorite Android virtual assistant) with the superior voice search offered in Dragon Go!

This free app is also now available for those with Android 2.3 and up, in the US at least.
